Kim Kkotsaem, 32, of Redding, was arrested by Wilton Police following the crash that took place around 10:56 a.m. Friday, July 6 on Danbury Road, said Lt. Robert Kluk.
According to Kluk, Kkotsaem was traveling northbound in her 2003 Jeep on Danbury Road when the vehicle in front of her stopped sharply. In order to avoid hitting the vehicle, Kkotsaem turned sharply to the left and accelerated across Danbury Road.
The vehicle then flew through the parking lot of Molly's Deli and struck a dumpster, a boulder and a dirt pile which sent the vehicle airborne, striking two parked vehicles at Precision Performance, Kluk said.
One other vehicle may have sustained contacted, but there was no visible damage, he added.
Kkotsaem, who had a baby in the vehicle, was charged with failure to keep right, following too closely and failure to wear a seatbelt.
She was written tickets and released. She was transported to a local hospital for injuries.
